Empowering Others to Heal and Flourish

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arkansas, Tesha is also a 200 RYT (registered yoga teacher), trained in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga.

From a young age Tesha recognized the power of human connection and the resilience of the human spirit. Adverse childhood experiences lead to Tesha’s own journey of overcoming and she felt drawn to helping others on their paths to healing. Tesha understands that being human is a practice and that we all require help in navigating this complex human experience. Her life has been impacted by the storm of addiction and devastated by the darkness of loss and grief. She has needed to construct meaning in the wake of grief and discover how to live after loss. She knows these jagged edges do find softness again. She brings this experience to the counseling room, to provide empathy and compassion to her clients.

The Counseling Approach

Tesha’s counseling approach is person-centered, strengths-based and solution-focused. She honors and recognizes that the mind, body and spirit are connected and that there are many paths to healing. She offers evidenced-based treatment that focuses on holistic healing with a heart-centered approach to improve mental and emotional wellbeing by exploring your spiritual beliefs, values, and practices, aiming to unearth the root cause of suffering. To make sense of our experiences, it is important to consider all aspects of our being. It is often from a place of integration, in understanding our thoughts, emotions, physical symptoms and spiritual insight that we grow through our pain and find an increase in self-love, self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Tesha believes it is important to learn applicable self-care and self-compassion that will lead to that place of self-acceptance and provide the contentment with where you are in your journey.

Humans are created for connection, and Tesha would be honored to walk with you through your healing journey, to help you live in your story, to own it, to walk in it proudly and to find peace in body, mind and spirit. She specializes in anxiety and depression, healing from trauma, life transitions, healing from toxic relationships, motherhood, parenting, relationship satisfaction, perfectionism, social anxiety, GAD, panic attacks, grief and loss, existential crises, addiction issues.
