EMDR Therapy for Trauma & Emotional Healing

Trauma can continue affecting your thoughts, emotions, and relationships long after the event has passed.

Maegan is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain naturally process distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity.

She works with individuals experiencing:

  • Trauma & PTSD

  • Childhood trauma

  • Sexual trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress and emotional overwhelm

  • Negative self-beliefs

  • Difficult life experiences

Her goal is to help clients move beyond surviving and begin experiencing greater confidence, emotional freedom, and peace.

Compassionate Therapy for Teens, Adults & Families

Every stage of life brings unique challenges.

Maegan has experience helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate emotional struggles while strengthening relationships and developing healthier coping strategies.

She frequently works with clients experiencing:

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Depression

  • Child-parent relationship concerns

  • Family conflict

  • Life transitions

  • Self-esteem challenges

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

Using a collaborative, person-centered approach, Maegan tailors therapy to each client's unique needs, goals, and strengths.

A Foundation Built on Advocacy & Healing

Maegan's passion for helping others extends beyond the therapy office.

While completing her graduate education at the University of Arkansas, she worked as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault, providing both individual and group support to individuals processing traumatic experiences. She also became certified as a wellness coach, helping clients set meaningful goals related to both emotional and physical well-being.

Earlier in her career, she worked in a residential psychiatric treatment program for children with significant emotional and behavioral needs, providing her with valuable insight into childhood development, trauma, and family dynamics.

These experiences continue to shape her compassionate, trauma-informed approach to counseling.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, she believes healing starts by meeting yourself with compassion rather than judgment.

Her counseling style is warm, collaborative, and encouraging. She works alongside clients to increase self-awareness, build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Her hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling more confident, more empowered, and more connected to the life they want to live.
