About Kailee and Experience
Kailee is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who graduated from the University of Arkansas in December 2016. She worked as a School Counselor for seven years and thoroughly enjoyed her experience working with such a diverse group of students, teachers, and families. Her background in school counseling and focus on mental health with students is something for which she is very thankful.
Kailee has a wide range of qualifications and experiences tailored to support the mental health of children and adolescents. Kailee has specialized certifications in "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion," "Trauma and Crisis Management", and "Working with Students with Special Needs," obtained through the American School Counseling Association.
With seven years of experience as a School Counselor, Kailee has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by 6th to 8th-grade students. She has also worked extensively with adolescents with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other neurodiverse individuals, providing effective support and intervention, as well as advocacy. Her experience in collaborating with parents and families further enhances her ability to connect with adults and parents who have a variety of needs.
Therapeutic Approach
Trust and connection in the counseling relationship are key to Kailee’s approach. She meets clients where they are, demonstrating empathy and understanding while gently guiding them toward their goals. She believes in addressing emotional needs alongside therapeutic goals to foster a holistic approach to healing. Kailee looks forward to working alongside her clients to help facilitate the healing and change they wish to see in their lives.
