    Anxiety Support

Sometimes feeling anxious is normal, like before a test or a big decision. But anxiety disorders are when these feelings last a long time and get worse. This can affect daily life, work, school, and relationships. There are different kinds of anxiety disorders.

    Relationship Support

Every relationship has good and bad times. It can be hard to tell when you need help. Sometimes, one or both partners feel unhappy, distant, or that their needs aren't being met. Most couples seek therapy only when things feel hopeless, thinking if it doesn't help, the relationship will end. Instead, see therapy as a way to keep your relationship strong and healthy before problems get worse.

    Depression

Sadness is a natural and common emotional response that occurs after specific events and typically fades away fairly quickly. In contrast, depression is a more serious medical condition characterized by persistent feelings of hopelessness and a significant loss of interest in activities, lasting for an extended period and negatively impacting daily life. Understanding the difference between normal sadness and clinical depression is important because it helps individuals recognize when it might be necessary to seek professional support and treatment.

    EMDR Therapy

Trauma can make your brain and body feel like you are still in the bad event when something triggers you. EMDR therapy helps your brain see that the trauma is in the past, not the present. This therapy helps you feel more in control. It works by having you focus on the worst part of the memory while using a special technique called bilateral stimulation. This is done many times with different parts of the memory until it no longer causes stress. EMDR is one of the best and most studied treatments for trauma. It is proven to be very effective and efficient.

    Online Counseling

Online counseling is mental health support through the internet, letting people meet with licensed therapists from home. Some use it with regular therapy, while more choose it instead of in-person visits for convenience. Not all insurance covers online counseling, so check with your provider before booking.

    Family Therapy

Family therapy helps improve problems with your partner, children, or other family members. It can address issues like marriage or money troubles, conflicts between parents and kids, or effects of addiction or mental illness on the family. In family therapy, you can:

-Look at how your family solves problems and shares feelings in a healthy way

-Explore family roles, rules, and habits to find causes of conflict and how to fix them

-Find your family's strengths, like caring for each other, and weaknesses, like trouble opening up to one another

    Child-Centered Therapy

Play therapy is a counseling method that helps children express their feelings using toys and play. It’s also called child-centered or play therapy and is based on the idea that children naturally want to get better.

In play therapy, toys are like the child’s words, and play is their way of talking. Therapists use play to help children learn better behaviors, especially when they struggle with emotions or social skills. The trusting relationship built during play therapy supports healing.

Play therapy can also help children think better and resolve inner problems. There are two main types:

Non-directive play therapy: the child leads the play.

Directive play therapy: the therapist guides the play with planned activities.

Play therapy works best for kids ages 3 to 12 but can also help teens, adults, and even infants and toddlers.

    Group Therapy

According to the American Psychological Association, group therapy has been found to be as effective as individual therapy for treating a wide variety of mental health symptoms.

Why is group therapy so effective? In many cases, the real healing happens through the shared experiences and relationships built in the group process. We know we are not meant to go through this life alone. Not only is group therapy a great way to connect with others in a safe, supportive environment, it is also an efficient way to begin your healing journey.
